Steelmaking Application Deoxidizer Calcium Silicon Alloy

  Calcium and silicon has a strong affinity with oxygen. Especially calcium has strong affinity not only with oxygen but also with sulfur and nitrogen.So the Calcium Silicon alloy is a kind of ideal compound deoxidizer, desulfurization agent. Silicon alloy not only has strong deoxidization ability, deoxidizing products easy to rise, easy to discharge, but also can improve the function, plasticity, impact toughness and liquidity of steel. The calcium silicon alloy can instead of aluminium for final deoxidization. It is applied to the high quality steel prduction.

1. Regular products packing with 1000 kg composite woven bags outside for each ton. 

2. Special product package with moisture barrier bag.

3. Package with customers' requirement, single packing also can be adjusted according to the size of converter molten pool.

The calcium silicon alloy is made up of elements silicon, calcium and ferro compound alloy, is an ideal compound deoxidizer and desulfurization agent.Widely used in the production

 process of high quality steel, mild steel, stainless steel and other steel and nickel base alloy, titanium alloy and other special alloy. The calcium silicon alloy can be also used as 

heating agent for the workshop of converter steelmaking and  for casting iron and additives for the production of nodular  iron.
